What we collect, why, and for how long. Written to be read, not to be survived.

LAST UPDATED · 19 OCTOBER 2026

The short version

We are a technology company, not an advertising one. Nothing on this site is sold, brokered, or handed to a data broker, and there is no advertising network watching you here.

Five things happen. We count visits with Google Analytics, and in Europe only after you say yes. We receive whatever you type into the contact form or the on-site assistant, because that is how we answer you. The address bar at the top of the home page shows you your own IP, which your browser already knew. And if you choose to sign in to DX22OP, the charts you have saved are copied to a server of ours so they open on your other devices, and if you then talk to one of its AI astrologers, your questions and a text summary of your chart are sent through our server to an AI provider to write each reply — signed out, which is how it starts, nothing in that app leaves your device. And if you ask for the Tessera Viz developer kit, we keep your request and, once it is approved, a developer account so you can sign in, download the kit and use your trial key.

That is the whole of it. The rest of this page is the same things, said precisely.

Who is responsible

PAR2LABS PRIVATE LIMITED ("PAR2 LABS", "we") is the controller of the personal data described here. We are registered in India and work with clients internationally.

Write to ceo@par2labs.com for anything on this page, including any of the rights set out below. A person reads that mailbox.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages get read, which do not, and roughly where readers come from. It is how we decide what to write next. We do not use it to build profiles of individuals, and we have no advertising features, remarketing, or Google Signals enabled on the property.

What Google receives on our behalf: the page you are on and its title, the page that referred you, the approximate location Google derives from your IP address, your device type, browser and screen size, language, and a randomly generated identifier stored in a cookie so that two page views in the same visit are recognised as one visit. Google's own measurement also records when you scroll to the bottom of a page, click a link that leaves the site, or download a file.

Google receives your IP address in order to do that, and discards it afterwards rather than storing it alongside the event. We never see it in the reports.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, none of this runs until you accept. Until you do, and if you decline, Google receives only an anonymous signal that a page was viewed, with no identifier and no cookie. Everywhere else, analytics runs on arrival and you can turn it off below at any time.

When you write to us

The contact form and the on-site assistant collect your name, your email address, and optionally your company, the area you are interested in, a budget range, and your message.

That goes straight into an email to ceo@par2labs.com. It is not written to a database, not added to a mailing list, and not passed to anyone outside the company. The email carries the time you sent it and the IP address it came from, which is how we tell a real enquiry from an automated one.

We keep those emails for as long as the conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to it. Ask us to delete yours and we will.

The assistant itself runs entirely in your browser. It matches what you type against a list of topics held in the page; nothing you say to it leaves your device until you complete a brief and send it.

The address on the home page

The home page shows a station log, and one of the lines in it is your own IP address. A small script on our server reads the address your connection arrives with and hands it back to your browser to display.

It is not stored, not logged by that script, and not sent anywhere else. Like every website, our host keeps standard web server access logs containing IP addresses and requested URLs; those are the host's own operational records and are rotated on their schedule.

DX22OP accounts, credits and the astrologer chat

DX22OP works with no account at all, and that is how it starts. Signed out, nothing you enter into it leaves your device: the birth details, the charts, the journal and every figure the app works out from them stay in that device's own storage, and the app computes offline because the whole engine is in the download.

Signing in copies the profiles you have saved to a server we run at dx.par2labs.com so that the same charts open on your other devices. What is held there for that is your email address, a hash of your password from which the password cannot be recovered, and for each saved profile the name you typed, the birth date, the birth time, the name of the birth place, its coordinates and its time zone. Credits and the astrologer chat, described below, add to that only if you use them.

There is no chart on that server and no reading of one. It stores the details you typed; the positions, the dasha, the yogas and every score are still worked out on your own device, from the same arithmetic, whether you are signed in or not. The server has no ephemeris in it and could not produce a chart if it were asked to. The one time a chart's text reaches the server is when you ask an astrologer a question, below.

We also keep, for the working of the thing: a hashed session token with the times it was issued, last used and expires, so a device can stay signed in; and, for fifteen minutes at a time, a record of failed sign-in attempts against an email address and an IP address, so that nobody can sit and guess at your password. No analytics run inside DX22OP, on any platform.

The astrologer chat. DX22OP, and Moksham, our Hindu app at deztinee.com that signs in with the same account, offer paid chats with AI astrologers. They are AI characters, not people, and the app says so wherever it shows them. When you ask a question, the app sends our server your question, the recent messages of that chat, and a text summary of your chart: the name you gave that profile, its birth date, time and place, and the positions, dasha, yogas and panchang the app worked out on your device. Our server passes that, and nothing else, to Anthropic, PBC, whose Claude model writes the reply. Your account email is not sent. We do not store the text of your questions, of the replies or of the chart summary: it is forwarded for that one reply and is not kept on our server. The text of a chat is kept on your own device, in the app or in this browser's storage, and clearing it there deletes it.

Anthropic acts as our processor for these replies. As we understand its commercial terms, it does not train its models on what we send it. It may keep requests for a limited period under its own retention rules, which we do not control, and it keeps the chart summary in a short-lived cache for a few minutes so that the next question in the same chat is quicker. It may process that text outside the country you are in. Its own privacy information is at anthropic.com/legal/privacy. None of this happens unless you open a chat: signing in, saving profiles and using the rest of the app never send a chart anywhere.

What our server does keep about a chat is its bill, not its words: which astrologer, when it began and ended, how many minutes were charged and how many credits that cost, how many questions were asked, how many units of text (tokens) the replies used, and why it ended. Nothing in that records what was said.

Credits. Each account has a credit balance and a ledger of every move of credits: a welcome gift, credits added, a minute of chat spent, credits given back when a reply failed, and any adjustment our team makes by hand, which carries the team member's email and a reason. They are kept for as long as the account exists and are deleted with it. Our team can see, for each account, its balance, its credits and chats and an estimate of what the replies cost, which is how we run and price the service and make sure nobody is charged wrongly; the team member who makes an adjustment is recorded. At the time of writing credits cannot be bought. Before they can, this page will say who processes the payments.

Other than the AI provider above, your charts and questions are never shown to anyone else, never sold and never used to train anything. We do not read them: the server forwards them, and our team sees counts and credits, not conversations.

Deleting your account deletes it. The button is in the app under Setup, it removes the account and every record stored under it, including its credits and the record of its chats, in the same operation, and there is no deactivated state left behind. What is on your device stays on your device, because signing out has never meant losing it.

Tessera Viz developer kit requests and trials

When you ask for the Tessera Viz developer kit at viz.par2labs.com/developer-kit, we collect what the form asks for: your name, work email, company name and website, job title, country, what you want to build, which parts of the library interest you, your front-end stack, your expected data size and when you plan to decide; and, if you choose to give them, a phone number, a LinkedIn profile and how you heard about us. With it we record the version of the Evaluation Agreement you accepted, the time you accepted it and your consent to be contacted, and the IP address the request came from.

We use this to decide whether to approve the request and to run your trial. To check a request we confirm that you own the email address (through a link we send you), note whether it is a free or disposable email provider, compare the email domain with the company website, and look up the domain's mail records and whether the website responds. We do not buy or add data about you from anyone else.

Once a request is approved, you get a developer account at viz.par2labs.com/developers. We keep a hash of the password you set, from which the password cannot be recovered, the times you signed in, your trial key and its start and end dates, and a log of each developer-kit download with its time and IP address. Admin actions on your request, such as approving, extending or revoking it, are kept in an audit log.

Trials are limited to one per developer or company. To enforce that, we keep a record of each trial we have issued: the name, email address and company it was issued to, a normalised form of the email, its domain and the company name, and the trial's dates. That record is kept after the trial ends, and after an account is deleted, because it is what stops a second trial being issued.

Emails about your request and trial are sent from contact@par2labs.com through our host's mail service. Everything above is stored on our own server at our host, Hostinger, and is not shared with anyone else, sold, or added to a mailing list.

Requests that are rejected, refused, or never confirmed are deleted, with their emails, links and download records, 90 days after they are decided or made. Approved accounts are kept while the trial runs and afterwards for as long as they are useful to the conversation about using Tessera Viz. Ask us to delete yours at any time and we will, apart from the trial record described above.

Cookies and browser storage

There are four things. Only one of them exists before you accept anything, and one exists only if you sign in to the Tessera Viz developer portal.

NameSet byWhat it is forHow long
p2l-consentThis siteRemembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so you are not asked twice.Until you clear your browser storage
_gaGoogle AnalyticsA random identifier that distinguishes one browser from another.2 years
_ga_74R06G4ZXKGoogle AnalyticsHolds the state of your current visit.2 years
__Host-tvdviz.par2labs.com/developersKeeps you signed in to the Tessera Viz developer portal. Set only when you sign in.Until you sign out or close the browser, and at most 8 hours idle

The two Google cookies are set only after consent where consent is required, and never at all if you decline.

Who else is involved

Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC process the analytics data described above as our processor, under Google's own terms and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Our typefaces are served from Google Fonts. Loading a font means your browser makes a request to Google, and Google therefore sees your IP address in order to answer it. Google states that it does not use those requests to identify you or serve advertising. If that matters to you, a content blocker will stop it, and the site falls back to your system typefaces and still works.

The site is hosted by Hostinger. The DX22OP console at par2labs.com/dx22op works everything out on your device and runs no analytics. What it sends to our server is only what the DX22OP section above describes: your saved profiles if you sign in, and your questions and chart summary if you use an astrologer.

Anthropic, PBC processes the questions and chart summaries of astrologer chats as our processor, so that its Claude model can write the replies, as described in the DX22OP section above. It is the only outside party that sees them.

Payments for PAR2 LABS subscriptions are processed by Razorpay (Razorpay Software Private Limited). We receive the payment status, amount, method type and a payment reference; we never see or store your full card, UPI PIN or bank login details. Razorpay's own privacy policy applies to the data you give them.

There is nothing else. No advertising pixels, no social trackers, no heatmaps, no session recording, and no chat widget from a third party on this site. The astrologer chat is part of our own app, and its only outside party is the AI provider named above.

How long anything is kept

Analytics events are held by Google under the retention period set on our property. We created it with Google's default and have not extended it, so event-level data is kept for two months, after which only the aggregated totals in the standard reports remain. Those totals cannot be traced back to a person.

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as they are useful to the conversation, as described above.

Tessera Viz developer kit requests and accounts are kept as described in that section: declined and unconfirmed requests for 90 days, approved accounts while they are useful, and the one-trial record for as long as trials are offered.

DX22OP credits, their ledger and the record of your astrologer chats are kept while your account exists and are deleted with it. The text of a chat is not kept by us at all; it stays on your own device, and what Anthropic keeps is governed by its own terms, as described above.

Your consent answer stays in your own browser until you change it or clear your storage. It never reaches us.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following: the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy of it, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw a consent you previously gave. Withdrawing consent does not undo anything done before you withdrew it.

Exercise any of them by writing to ceo@par2labs.com. We will not ask you to justify the request and we will not charge you for it. If you are in the EEA or the UK and you think we have handled your data badly, you may also complain to your national data protection authority.

You can turn analytics off for this browser right now, using the control below.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and the people who work in them. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if what we do changes, and the date at the top will change with it. This version is dated 19 October 2026. If a change materially affects how your data is used, visitors who need to consent will be asked again rather than carried over on an old answer.
